Driving Directions to Fire Island
From NYC: follow either 1) or 2) or 3) to the Southern Parkway East.
1) Long Island Expressway East, Exit 38 onto the Grand Central Parkway (GCP)
onto the Northern Parkway onto the Meadowbrook Parkway South. Exit M 6 E
- onto the Southern Parkway East.
2) GCP to Northern Parkway and follow directions as above.
3) The Belt Parkway onto the Cross Island Parkway onto the Southern
Parkway East.
Proceed on the Southern Parkway East to Exit 40
(South), continuing on the Robert Moses Causeway - Ocean Beaches to Exit RM 2
E. Continue on Route 27A - Bayshore for 2.9 mi. to 4th Traffic Light.
Make right onto Maple Avenue and proceed for 0.4 mi. to Fire Island Ferry Terminal (on the right)
For online directions. enter as destination: 99 Maple Ave. , Bayshore, NY
Parking: You can either park at the Ferry Terminal or if full
go back out of the Terminal and make a left onto Maple Avenue. Make the next left into Shore Line Marine. It’s a 4 min. walk back.
